The IAPS Squash Championships have been hosted at Millfield School, Wellington College and are now hosted at Nottingham University Sports Centre. They take place over 3 days in April.

The event has on average 20 schools enter with between 75-100 competitors. There is a draw for U11’s, an Open draw, a Girls draw and a doubles draws.

Day 1 hosts the U11 and Open qualifying rounds. Day 2 hosts the last 16 rounds of the U11's and Open draw followed by the quarter finals. The girls and doubles draws also start on day 2. Day 3 is finals day with the semi’s and finals taking place across all four draws followed by the presentation.  There is a 360-degree glass show court with tiered seating which is used for the finals to give an extra special feel for the finalists and spectators.

The championships are played over 6 indoor squash courts and refereed by England Squash referees who ensure that the matches are scored fairly and consistently throughout the tournament.

It is fantastic to see so many children playing squash over the 3 days, all striving to be crowned an IAPS champion in their draw.

Squash is physically demanding so the children relax in the evenings with their fellow competitors, coaches and parents and prepare for the following days competition.

The 2020 Championships were cancelled due to Covid-19 but the results from 2019 are below:
