A weekend of family fun with sporting legends!

Festival of Sport at Holkham is the ultimate family sports festival, with entertainment, camping, competitions and coaching from world-class sporting legends, all set within the stunning grounds of Holkham and founded by Rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey.

Legends from the world of sport will take part in a wide variety of sporting zones to bring expert coaching to kids aged 5 to 17. Legends confirmed so far include: England rugby internationals, Rachael Burford and Mike Tindall; former England cricket captain, Sir Andrew Strauss; Olympic gold medallist and GB hockey player Alex Danson; Olympic and World champion rowers Helen Glover and Anna Watkins; former England international netballers Pam Cookey and Tamsin Greenway; former Liverpool and England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland; World Synchronised champion trampolinist Amanda Parker; TV naturalist and television presenter Steve Backshall; and Celebrity Who Dares Wins star, Jason Fox, with many more to come.

Over the two days, children will be given the opportunity to learn more about the sports they love, to discover new ones, develop skills, make new friends and be inspired by legends of sport and expert coaches. Key sports on offer include rugby, netball, cricket, tennis, hockey, rowing, football, gymnastics, and athletics, with the opportunity to try many more such as trampolining, climbing, golf and dodgeball.

Founders Will and Austin are keen to promote some post lockdown positivity and to get kids active again.

“Our mantra for the festival is that “no-one gets left on the bench”. It doesn’t matter if you’re a budding junior champion or just want to stick your toe in the water and try something new. There’s something for everyone.”

Festival of Sport will also have live music, an outdoor cinema, a Taste of Norfolk food village and a spa and wellness area. Not to mention one of the country’s most stunning and unspoilt beaches being just a stone’s throw away from the event.
