Girls Rugby Club and Girls Cricket Club

Girls Cricket Club:

The Girls Cricket Club is a place for female cricketers. Built by girls, for girls, to share knowledge, resources, inspiration and opportunities.

It’s a supportive and welcoming environment for girls to feel a sense of belonging within cricket and where we can serve as a independent voice for females within the game.

Founded by England cricket legend Lydia Greenway, the Girls Cricket Club is about creating opportunities for development both on and off the field and providing resources specific to girls and women to support them on their sporting journey.

As you may be aware, our GCC XI has recently been announced.

The Girls Cricket Club XI is a group of 11 young female cricket leaders, think of it as our first eleven, who will lead us on our mission and help to shape the Girls Cricket Club moving forward. These young women have unrivalled passion, dedication and enthusiasm for cricket and are the next generation of our game!

It’s important to us that we provide a space for our members to have a voice, to share their thoughts, ideas, concerns and aspirations. With their lead, we will work to implement positive changes and provide opportunities that meet their needs.

Girls Rugby Club

The Girls Rugby Club is the same concept as the cricket club but there are 15 members instead of 11 - just like in a rugby team!

The young rugby leaders are featured below. Huge congratulations to everyone!
