Ice Skating

The British Championships 2022 will take place in Sheffield from the 1st-4th December 2022.

In the dance category, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson, will be skating in the Senior Ice Dance event, with Phebe Bekker and James Hernandez competing in the Junior category. Both of these couples will then compete at GB’s first appearance in the Grand Prix final on 8th December in Turin Italy.

Ed Appleby, who we interviewed for this magazine (read here) will compete in the Men’s event and Natasha Mckay takes part in an extremely competitive Women’s competition. All the skaters are competing for national titles as well as places at January’s European Championships.

For the junior skaters it's even more exciting as they are skating to also earn a place skating for GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival in January and the Junior World Championships in February.

Tickets are available for the British Championships 2022. Saturday and Sunday tickets are priced at £15 per day.
