The Kickboxing/Sparring Divisions available to this age group are Point Sparring, Continuous Sparring and Kumite.

The Under 14 Yrs also have the option of competing in a Creative Self Defence Division, where they get to perform an almost choreographed (as their performance has been drilled so many times) self defence routine against an attacker.

Self Defence :

Self Defence comprises of two Divisions, Creative and Reality, Creative is open to under 14 Yrs and the 14 Yrs and over have the option of both Divisions.

  • Creative Self Defence :

    • This section is pretty much a Choreographed Division, where an athlete drills their self defence techniques prior to the tournament, almost perfecting what they do with their partner. This section is an open hand and stick defensive section, for under 14 Year olds, where your attacker uses strikes, holds and a stick in different attacks against you.
