Australian Open
This month the big news in the world of sport is the Australian Open.
Held in the city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria huge crowds are expected to enjoy a full Grand Slam programme, including two weeks of lead in tournaments, the return of AO Qualifying and the AO Junior Championships.
Record numbers of fans are expected for the Australian Open wheelchair events, as multi-Grand Slam champion and Paralympic gold medallist Dylan Alcott plays in his final tournament before retiring from the sport.
This year, there is also a brand new 5,000-seat stadium and some exciting additions to the fan areas with smart new restaurants and the spectacular new AO Beach House, designed to bring holiday vibes to life including beach tennis, sun loungers and posh fish and chips!
