Judd Trump

Trump’s flamboyant style and ability to play shots which seem to defy the laws of physics have made him a natural successor to O’Sullivan as a crowd favourite. He won the UK Championship back in 2011.
Neil Robertson
Age: 40

The Thunder from Down Under was the player of the year last season, winning four titles. He has made a slower start to the current campaign but is always a major contender. He won the UK Championship in 2013, 2015 and 2020.
Mark Selby

From: Leicester
Over the past decade, Selby has risen to ‘all-time great’ status, winning the UK Championship twice and the World Championship four times. He has struggled for form in recent months but is showing signs of a revival.
John Higgins

From: Glasgow
Other than Stephen Hendry, John Higgins is the finest player ever to come from Scotland and has won four World Championship titles as well as the UK Championship in 1998, 2000 and 2010.
