The World Darts Championship started in December and ends on 3rd January 2022. It takes place at Alexandra Palace and sees the world's best darts players compete for an enormous £2,500,000 in prize money! The reigning world champion as we go to print is Gerwyn Price.
Junior world darts championships
Did you know that there is a Junior World Darts Championships? It took place at the end of 2021 and Team England won the team event.
15 nations and over 100 competitors took part in the competition over 5 days in Gibraltar and, wait for it, there was £10,000 of prize money!!

Luke won a huge total of £2000.
Team Winner - TEAM ENGLAND
On 18th December at Alexandra Palace the individuals final took place between LEIGHTON BENNETT 15yrs (ENG) V BRADLEY ROES 16yrs (NED)
The runner up won £1000 and the winner £2000!!
