Design A Golf Hole Competition!

Do you think you have what it takes to be the next big designer in the world of golf? Try your hand at this competition to see!

The England Golf and Golf Foundation Young Ambassadors inspire others to have a go at golf, while also providing innovative ideas to generate positive change within the sport. This is your chance to get involved too! The winning entry will receive a golf experience for their school, thanks to bsporty magazine and the Golf Foundation.

Golf is a social sport played by many young people and adults across the country, which can not only boost your sporting abilities but also build your confidence and can be a great way to meet new people. This competition hopes to spread the joy of golf, so let your imagination and creativity go wild.

What have you got to do?

Now it’s up to you to draw or create your idea for a golf hole. This could be on paper or digital software, or even something you can physically play. It should include a green with a hole and a teeing area (where you start the hole) but other than that it’s your choice how to blow us away with your design. You could include bunkers or water in whatever shape your heart desires, or maybe consider purple grass made of mashed potatoes – the choice is yours!

If a physical ‘Adventure Golf’ approach is more your style, you could build the golf hole in your house or garden from any materials you may have at your disposal. You could even give your hole a go with a putter or hockey stick!

How to submit your entry?

Please photograph / film or scan your entry and email to contact@bsporty.co.uk

Please remember to include your name, school and contact details for your school sport coordinator. The Golf Foundation will need school contact details to arrange the golf sessions for the winners.

Entries will close on 31st October 2022 and judging will be led by the England Golf and Golf Foundation Young Ambassadors, alongside an independent judge.
