Rugby Union
April sees the launch of the 2021 Women’s Six Nations tournament. This is a competition featuring six different countries, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France and Italy who all play matches against one another to find out who will become the Six Nations Champions.
Due to Covid, the Women's competition will see a different and shorter format than previous years. Rather than each team playing each other, they have been split into two pools that will finish with each team facing the opposing ranked team from the other pool in a Super Saturday finals day.
The full match schedule can be found here:
Defending Champions England will be in a pool with Italy and Scotland. The Red Roses play their first game against Scotland on 3rd April at 3.00pm which can be watched through the BBC iPlayer app. While traditionally all England teams play at Twickenham, The Red Roses this year will be playing in Doncaster to try and help grow the game in all areas of England.
The Men’s Six Nations competition finished in March and was won by Wales.

#GetYourShirtOn – Keeping children active and enjoying rugby from home
As it's so important for players to stay active, even whilst at home, England Rugby have been running online training sessions for age-grade players each Sunday until the latest lockdown restrictions lifted.
Get Your Shirt On is a series of online training sessions led by former England players and aimed at the 6-18-year-olds.
All the RFU asks is that you wear your club or school rugby shirts when you take part.
