There are 10 sports such as BMX, athletics, cricket, netball, triathlon and hockey including 4 with disability disciplines.
The School Games is an initiative led by the Youth Sport Trust and as part of the event, competitors can take part in other opportunities such as the Athlete Education Programme which includes sporting mentors giving workshops to help the young athletes with establishing skills for life.
