SKATE AT SOMERSET HOUSE
After a year away, SKATE returns to its iconic Somerset House venue in London all this month and until 16th January 2022.
Tickets are £11 for adults and £8.50 for children (12 and under) including skate hire via www.somersethouse.org.uk. There are also family discounts of 10% for 2 adults and 2 children or one adult and 3 children. Book early to avoid disappointment..read on to find out what excitement and fun you can expect.
With incredible ice skating opportunities, rinkside DJ takeovers, food and festive experiences it is the most magical place to spend time with your family and friends this winter.
For the first 4 Saturdays of Skate, Somerset House partners with Disney+ to bring morning skate sessions hosted by KISS DJs.
Or if you want to get your confidence on the ice or remind yourself after a long time away from skating why don't you join the Skate School with a series of professional coaching sessions run by National Ice Skating Association instructors (NISA). It's first come, first served and you can borrow stabilisers until you get steady on your feet (or blades!).
The rink is also open to wheelchair users across all skating sessions.
If you get hungry after all that fun activity on the ice, why not head over to Hotel Chocolat's Chocmobile for hot chocolate drinks and delicious treats?! There are even chocolate workshops you can join in with and your grown ups can join the masterclasses!
