‘London’s city-based academy for aspiring junior cricketers’

We have a large number of bsporty readers in the London area and so we are highlighting in this edition the fantastic London Cricket Academy. This academy is for those of you, boys and girls aged 8-14, who want to play elite level cricket and train like professional cricketers.

Keep reading for some online cricket drills direct from the Academy!!

Keep an eye on the London Cricket Academy website, www.londoncricketacademy.com, for when you can enter their trials from any London Borough with the chance of being selected onto their unique academy. At the moment they are still offering online cricket 1-1’s so contact callumfjackson@icloud.com if you’re interested in this opportunity.

This academy is for talented young cricketers who may have missed out on county age groups and formal pathways to still train and play at the same level. This means that the opportunity for future professional cricket careers are kept in sight thanks to the incredible ex-professional coaches you will be taught by such as:

Whilst their academy players are at home and can’t play cricket as normal, the London Cricket Academy have put some home cricket drills together in this single video for them to keep their skills up to scratch….and we are very lucky that bsporty readers can access them as well.

Last year the coaches were in Dallas, USA, teaching young cricketers. This is definitely an academy to aspire to play in if you live in London and love cricket!

You will not only better your skills but also compete with the best of the city.

With thanks to The London Cricket Academy for the use of the images and videos in this article.
