NFL Academy

In our February edition, we had a brilliant article from the NFL about the game of American Football and the Super Bowl. This year, the Super Bowl LVII was won by the Kansas City Chiefs.

In that article, ( click the highlighted link above) the NFL mentioned that there is an NFL Academy at Loughborough College and we wanted to find out more!

The Academy started in 2019 in London but was moved to Loughborough in September 2022 thanks to a partnership between the College and the University. The students therefore benefit from the best of both worlds. Most of you will have heard about Loughborough University and its incredible reputation for sports facilities and stars. Many famous names in sport attended the university and trained there.

The NFL Academy is based at Loughborough College and has 70 players aged 16-19 who are offered great teaching, Ofsted outstanding accommodation and NFL training and opportunities. They also have access to the top class facilities and staff at the university. The NFL Academy has students from all over the UK and Europe and five students receiving scholarship offers from NCAA Division 1 colleges in the US.
