If you are a Skateboard GB member then this is for you! If you’re new to skateboarding but would like to learn more, check out our other articles below, plus our skateboarding videos on the Skills/Coaching page.

Over the next 6 months, Junior events will be held at 3 SBGB Hub Skateparks in London, Nottingham and Salford.

The emphasis is on ‘fun’ so it’s a great chance for new, up and coming skateboarders to come along and take part.

There are two categories:

Under 12 - £10 to enter (aged under 12 on 1st September 2022)

Under 12 will be a mixed category and compete in a Jam Format in Street

Entries numbers are limited at events due to the run times of the competitions.

There will be prizes awarded for the top three in each category

Under 16 - £15 to enter (aged under 16 on 1st September 2022)

Under 16 will be male and female categories with competitions in a World Skate Format in either Street or Park

For more experienced skaters, on 5th November, SBGB X Source Skate Co. 1066 Park Championships will be held at The Source Park, Hastings, along with a Best Trick / Cash for Tricks Bowl Jam in the evening.

There’s over £3,000 of prize money up for grabs in the official park competitions and best trick / cash for tricks bowl jam after.
Park Competition
- Male £1066 (1st £533, 2nd £319, 3rd £213)
- Female £1066 (1st £533, 2nd £319, 3rd £213)

Best Trick / Cash for Tricks Bowl Jam

There’s also a free open jam session! Rock up and skate hard!

Cash and prizes for tricks, £500 for the best trick!

Closing date for entries is 31st October 2022. There are no age limits for this competition so t’s open to all.
