FIBA EuroBasket 2022
From 1st-18th September, the EuroBasket championships will be taking place. This is an exciting men's basketball tournament that has competing countries gripped.
There are 4 host countries, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy and 24 participating teams including Great Britain. For the group stages, the teams are grouped as follows, with Great Britain in Group C :
Team GB play on the following days in Milan, Italy:
2nd September vs Ukraine
3rd September vs Croatia
5th September vs Greece
6th September vs Estonia
8th September vs Italy
The media are predicting either France or Slovenia are their favourites to win the competition but you can keep up to date via the FIBA website https://www.fiba.basketball/eurobasket/2022 or, FIBA have produced a EuroBasket app which can be downloaded from the app store - with the permission of your parent/guardian of course!
